Argh, still getting up early to go for walks in the morning before breakfast with the pup. He's doing much better on the leash but I'm worn out. Also going for a walk every evening with him and feels great to have a good excuse to get outside. Today when I came home for lunch he was very playful and bit me on the hand. OUCH!!! Not sure how we'll handle that but he did it again when I got home from work. He is just playing, I know but it hurt just the same. I said, "ouch" very loudly when he bit me after work (because it really hurt!) and now he's been sitting on my feet, cuddling up to me on the couch and most generally showing me how he feels bad. Ah, what a sweetie pie. Another thing we've noticed is he does not tolerate cooler temps very well. I have the air conditioner on 72 degrees and he's shivering. The cats seem to be doing better putting him in his place and regaining their place at the head of the pecking order here in the home. This is working out very well and I enjoy every second of it! (Except for the biting.)
